Custom business systems, built and run for you
Your business runs on people remembering. We build the systems so it doesn't have to.
ABI designs and builds automation around how your business already works: answering and booking, follow-up, marketing, the recurring back-office work. Then we run it, keep a person in the loop where it matters, and stay responsible for it working.
30 minutes, no pitch. You tell us where things fall through the cracks. If there is not enough leaking to be worth fixing, we say so.
Most businesses don't have a marketing problem. They have a follow-through problem.
- Leads wait. The customer who is ready at 9pm gets voicemail or a contact form, and a reply the next afternoon. The first business to answer usually wins the job.
- Follow-up depends on someone remembering. The second and third touches are where most deals close, and where most businesses stop.
- Your process lives in people's heads. Quotes, intake, scheduling, the weekly numbers: retyped, re-asked, re-forgotten, while paid-for leads quietly leave.
You already pay to get the customer to the page or the phone. The leak is what happens after.
What we build
Custom, not off the shelf. Each system is built around your process, on its own private infrastructure, and connected to the others so nothing gets retyped between them.
Front door: website and phone agents
A private agent that answers the questions that come before a sale, any hour. It quotes only your own prices, hours and service area, books the job or sends the visitor to checkout, and hands off to a person with the transcript when it should. Text on the site, voice on the site, or on your phone line.
In production for clients today. Priced below.
Follow-through systems
Estimates chased until they get an answer. Missed calls texted back. Review requests that actually go out. Reactivation of the customers you already have. Every message drafted by an agent, sent on rules you set, with a person able to stop it.
Marketing engine
Research, content, outreach drafts and reply handling produced by a team of agents, with you at the approval gate. The system that markets our founder's other businesses is this one, and the map of it is the first thing we draw for yours.
Running today on the founder's other businesses.
Back office and reporting
Intake that collects what you need before the first call. Scheduling that writes to the calendar you already use. The Monday report: what came in, what got booked, what it cost, what to fix. Every system we build logs from day one so the report can exist.
How it works
-
Fit call, 30 minutes, free
You tell us how customers reach you and where things fall through. We tell you honestly whether there is enough leaking to be worth fixing.
-
Systems map, $500 to $1,500, credited toward your build
We map how work moves through your business end to end and hand you three to five fixes, ranked by what each one is costing you every month. You can take the map anywhere.
-
Fixed-scope build
A written definition of done, a fixed price, and the system demonstrated working on your real leads before handoff. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
-
We run it
Monitoring, tuning, fixes, re-testing on every release, and a monthly report. Reliability is our problem, not yours.
Why this works when "automation" doesn't
Off-the-shelf automations bolt a tool onto a messy process, which just makes the mess faster. We fix the process first, then build the system around it, then stay accountable for it running. Every consequential action has a human checkpoint and a kill switch, your data stays in accounts you own, and nothing goes live without a definition of done you signed.
How we price
A fixed price to build, a monthly fee to run. Builds start at $4,500. Running starts at $497 a month and pays for hosting, monitoring, re-testing on every release and re-verification whenever your prices or process change. New capability is a new fixed-price project, so the monthly never grows on its own.
An example: the front-door agent
- Text agent on your website
- Answers from your own services and prices, recommends the right option with the reasons
- Books, or sends the visitor to your checkout
- Hands off to your team with the transcript
- 500 conversations a month included
- Everything in Guide
- "Talk instead": spoken conversation on the site, interruptible, same guardrails
- Same booking and checkout on screen
- 500 conversations plus 500 voice minutes a month
- Everything in Voice
- The Monday report: what people asked, what was booked, where conversations end, objections and whether they were overcome, cost
- Dashboard views on your own data
- A quarterly tuning pass driven by that data
- 1,000 conversations plus 1,000 voice minutes a month
Phone. The same agent on your phone line: after-hours and overflow calls, a disclosure line, emergency hard-transfer to a person, bookings into the same records. By quote.
Usage. Included up to the allowance. Above it, $0.50 per conversation and $0.15 per voice minute, under a hard cap you agreed to in writing. You never hold an API key.
Where it runs. ABI-hosted by default: our infrastructure, one project per client, one bill. Your-cloud for compliance-minded clients: your hosting, your database, your keys, ABI owns the code. +$1,500 setup.
Other systems and agencies. Follow-through, marketing and back-office builds are scoped from the systems map. A wholesale schedule exists for agencies who resell. Ask on the call.
The questions people ask first
- We tried a chat plugin and turned it off.
- It answered from general knowledge. Ours can only quote your own records, and we test that against 55 simulated customers on every release.
- What if it says something wrong to a customer?
- It cannot state a price it did not look up. On anything your business has not told it, it hands over to a person. You get the transcript.
- Why a monthly fee?
- Your prices, services and process change. Every change is a reload, a check and a human sign-off, or the system runs on stale information. That, plus monitoring and the test suite, is the fee.
- What happens to our data?
- Everything runs in accounts your business owns or in a private environment built for you alone. Named vendors only, least-access credentials, customer phone numbers and addresses scrubbed before storage, nothing used to train anyone's models. A written data-handling summary comes with every proposal.
- Will it send something we didn't approve?
- Not without a rule you wrote. Outbound messages run on rules you set, with an approval gate where you want one and a kill switch everywhere.
- What if you disappear?
- Choose your-cloud: you own the hosting, the database and the keys, and the system keeps running without us. ABI owns the code.
Proven on our founder's own businesses first.
ABI is Automated Business Innovations. Our founder runs three other businesses, and the marketing behind all three runs on agents built the same way we build for clients, in public. Client systems have been in production since September 2026. Everything on this page is what exists today, not a roadmap.
Based in Madison, Wisconsin. Working with businesses across the Midwest, and remotely anywhere in North America.
